Alexander Ottman

Alexander Charles Ottman was born October 23, 1895, in Ventspils, the son of Charles and Nina (Freeman) Ottman. When he filed his draft registration during World War I, Ottman was working as a carpenter in Chester, Pennsylvania. He married Minnie Zent on November 18, 1929, in New York City. By the time of the 1940 federal census, Ottman and his wife were living in Islip, New York, with their daughters, Barbara and Patricia.1
