Theodor Apsche
Theodor Apsche (Teodors Apše), born May 1, 1891, arrived in the United States in 1914. According to his draft registration, in 1917 he worked as fisherman in Cumberland County, New Jersey.1 In 1920, according to the U.S. census, he lived at 4138 Ogden St. in Philadelphia, boarding in the home of Peter and Lillie Robenson, also Latvian immigrants.2 The Rev. Peter Buschman and his wife lived next door. Apše married Lilly Cabel in 1921.3
