Ernest Bumbeer

Ernest Bumbeer (Bumbear) was a cousin of Martin Greve. In 1918, he married Emily Gludin. Two years later, the couple lived at 869 Holly St. in Philadelphia in the Ernest and Elizabeth Luhks home, according to the 1920 census. The Luhkses also were immigrants from Latvia. Ernest had arrived in 1906, while Elizabeth had followed in 1910 along with their children Alfred, William, Bella, Carl, and Lida. Two other children, Alma and Evelyn, were born in Pennsylvania. Also in the household was August Martinson.
