Louis Timberg

Louis Ferdinand Timberg was born Jan. 19, 1894, in Philadelphia. In 1910, he lived at 771 Sloan St. with his mother, Margaret, and sister, Erna, according to the U.S. census. In 1915, he married Matilda G. Westberg. In 1917, the couple lived with Louis's mother at 634 N. Markoe St. in Philadelphia, according to his draft registration. Louis worked as an auto repairman and chauffeur at Stokes and Smith Co. in Philadelphia.

In 1920, according to that year's census, the couple lived in the Robert and Anna Fisher household at 1222 Rush St., Philadelphia. Besides the Fishers' three children (Albert, Anna, and Franklin), also in the house was Robert's sister, Martha. Ten years later, according to the 1930 census, Matilda and Louis lived at 6725 Musgrave St. in Philadelphia along with two other children, Margaret and John. They were still there in 1940, but the family had gained another son, Donald, according to the 1940 census.

Louis died in 19481. Matilda died in 1980.2
